3C2A, NCFC Announce Postseason Matchups

The NCFC announced this afternoon that College of San Mateo (9-1) is the No. 1 seed for the upcoming Northern California Football Conference Playoffs. The Bulldogs will host No. 4 American River College (7-3), while Modesto Junior College (8-2) secured the No. 2 seed and will take on No. 3 Fresno City College (8-2) in the other regional semifinal matchup.

The NCFC semifinals are scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 30. College of San Mateo and American River will kick off at 12:05 p.m. on CSM’s home field, while Modesto and Fresno City are set for a 1 p.m. start at Modesto Junior College.

The winners will advance to the NCFC Championship on Dec. 7. The NCFC champion will host the Southern California champion on Dec. 14 in the 3C2A Football State Championship.

NCFC Semifinals (Nov. 30):

• No. 4 American River (7-3) at No. 1 College of San Mateo (9-1), 12:05 p.m.
• No. 3 Fresno City (8-2) at No. 2 Modesto Jr. College (8-2), 1 p.m.

NCFC Championship (Dec. 7):

• Hosted by the higher seed.

• Hosted by NCFC champion.
