Butte College Roadrunners to Host Foothill College Owls in Bowl Game Showdown
Oroville, CA - The Butte College Roadrunners are gearing up to host the Foothill College Owls in an exciting bowl game matchup on December 7th at Noon at Butte College in Oroville, CA. This highly anticipated game will showcase two talented teams going head-to-head in a battle for victory.
The Roadrunners, with a season record of 9-1, have had an impressive year both offensively and defensively. Led by QB Marcus Beamon, the Nor-Cal League Offensive MVP, the team has amassed a total of 3,724 yards, with 1,923 yards in the air and 1,801 yards on the ground. Beamon has thrown for 1,864 yards and 31 touchdowns, while RB Takeshi Faupula leads the rushing attack with 928 yards and 7 touchdowns. Defensively, LB Austin Young and DB Zach Valcarcel have been standouts, with Valcarcel recording 5 interceptions, two of which he returned for touchdowns.
On the other side, the Foothill College Owls, with a season record of 7-3, come into the game averaging 29.3 points per game. QB Jayden Macedo has thrown for 1,958 yards and 14 touchdowns, with WRs Johnnie Barbie and Andre Jackson as his top targets. RB Jordan Fuentes leads the rushing attack with 587 yards and 4 touchdowns. Defensively, LB Faapaia Fualema and DE Joshua Shanklin have been key players, with Fualema leading the team in tackles and Shanklin in sacks.
