Games of the week:
Laney @ San Mateo
Friday will mark the long and successful coaching career at Laney College for Coach John Beam where the Eagles take on the College of the San Mateo Bulldogs. The Bulldogs have already won their League and hope to clinch a home game if not the right to host throughout the playoffs with a victory.
Sequoias @ Modesto
The Valley Legaue Championship is on the line this weekend in the College of the Sequoias Giants making the trip up Highway 99 to Modesto. If Modesto can win the game they will win the league. With a COS victory they are not out of making the playoffs with a Fresno loss, but a COS and Fresno victory will create a 3-way tie with the Fresno Rams moving on to the playoffs.
Siskiyious @ De Anza
College of the Siskiyous will make its trip to the Bay Area to take on the Mountain Lions of De Anza College. A victory by De Anza will win the league for them, while a victory by the Eagles will give them a chance to clinch the title in the final week of the season vs College of the Redwoods.
At this time College of San Mateo and American River have punched their tickets for the 3C2A Football Playoffs while Monterey Peninsula can clinch the Golden Coast League title with a victory in either of their last two contests.
